ChibiCon as we like to call it in short, actually started back in January 2015 as “Serenity’s Chibi-Con Cosplay Nights”. Serenity Lockhart and Tito Midnight love attending and competing at anime, video games and comics conventions. After a couple of months of planning, we started Serenity Lockhart’s monthly themed drag show at “The Platinum Pony” in Easthampton, MA Each month had a different theme and consisted of Serenity, her drag daughter Tytannia L. Lockhart, Erynn Rocabich and 2-3 different guests each month. There was also a costume contest and in some occasions there was a lip sync and/or dance contest. Prizes were given to the winner from our sponsors at the time.

Unfortunately, a few days after our September, 2015 event, there was some electrical failure, the venue caught on fire and it was permanently shut down. It was then when an amazing idea hit us and we thought, why don’t we plan a much bigger and exciting show and repeat it in different venues. After organizing an amazing cast, we added special effects, choreographed dancing, comedy skits, props, over the top performance cosplay outfits to the show and renamed it “ChibiCon: The Traveling Cosplay Show”. We debuted our new show in January with “Super Heroes” as the first cycle’s theme and already performed at many different venues, some which were private events in different states including MA, VT, RI, CT and NY. In the short time so far we’ve gotten so much positive feedback and reviews. We are excited to bring to the show to many more venues including colleges, universities and of course to anime, video games and comics conventions.

Hi all, I'm Dannylion, formerly known as Larcy. I am a master's level cosplayer and have been cosplaying for over 10 years. I don't have a exact specialty but am well known for making large props that hinder my existence. I'm kind of a jack of most trades. I also do cosplay photography! I've been your judge here at Connecticon for several years now and am excited to be returning once again. I look forward to meeting you all and seeing your amazing cosplays!

Rusty Masquerade

I'm just your average artsy-fartsy Connecticut native cosplaying gal. I've been making my own cosplays for conventions since 2007 and have been serving as a craftsmanship judge since 2018. My area of craftsmanship expertise is in the recreation and building of the various sculptural elements a character may have when creating a cosplay. I have created many props, weapons, armor pieces and detailed accessories throughout the years for my own cosplays using a variety of materials such as resin, fiberglass, wood, epoxy clay, foam and latex for mold making. It's always a pleasure to be a craftsmanship judge at Connecticon and I look forward to seeing all the amazing cosplays!
