Carlos Alazraqui was not just the face of Deputy James Garcia on Comedy Central’s “Reno 911! He’s also been a standup comedian for over 20 years and one of LA’s top voiceover actors for over 15 years, providing the voices for Rocko and Spunky on Nickelodeon’s “Rocko’s Modern Life, Mr. Weed on FOX’s “The Family Guy”, Denzel Crocker on “Fairly Odd Parents”, Lazlo on Cartoon Networks’s “Camp Lazlo” and of course the voice of Gidget “The Taco Bell Chihuahua, to name just a few. Hear him as the voice of Nestor, the Latin Penguin in Happy Feet 1 and 2 and as the breakout character “El Chupacabra” in PIXAR’S Planes, coming out in 2013.

Carlos has a 4 episode pick up deal with Mondo Media for his cartoon “Off The Curb”, a totally improvised show. The pilot episode can be seen on MondoMedia.com. The cast includes voice over heavyweights, John DiMaggio, Gary Anthony Williams, Cedric Yarbrough and Fred Tatasciore. If scheduling permits, they will have a live appearance at this year’s San Diego COMICON, where Carlos will also be part of the Fairly Odd Parents Panel

Carlos is also the voice of Bane for Justice League Doom.

This year Carlos booked a Southeast Regional Campaign for Direct Auto Insurance. He plays ex-racecar driver JJ Hightail in 12 commercial spots and on billboards and buses as well. He is set to shoot several more spots this July. Check out JJ Hightail on YouTube!
