Has anybody hear actually read Maximum Ride by James Patterson? I just picked up one of the books at the local library and found that I’m totally sucked into the series. It’s really not that bad, even for YA. Anyone?

I started reading them back in JH/HS and loved them. I think I’m all caught up with the series but with the way Patterson knocks out books I surely could be mistaken.

Great, great series.

The first three books are Amazing. (With a capital “A” obviously). The fourth one made my soul bleed. The fifth one, not as bad, but not up to standard of the first three. The series has a natural stopping place after the third book, so in my opinion, he shouldn’t have continued. But there will always be a special place in my heart for Max and the rest of the Flock.
