Anyway to put the question to the official Convention staff?
Lots of folks are posting that they are bringing laptops.
It would be cool to check out the Artist Colony folks websites right away, so it would not just be for gamers.
Some people will probably even be blogging the convention.

On another thread the official ConnetiCon answer is that they have tried in the past, yet could not get any consession out of the cenvention center staff.
They charge what they charge to everyone, including businesses that use the center. Supposedly, if they gave us a discount, then they would have to give others a discount.
So, everyone to Startbucks for WiFi (purportedly free) and java to keep up the party!

Well, the way Console Gaming was set up this year - “Internet, Internet ........we dont need no stinking Internet”!

Yeah, it would be prohibitively expensive, and as long as we’re Console Gaming and not Video Gaming (no PCs) then I don’t think we much need it.
