Is anyone here writing a book?
Re: Is anyone here writing a book?
Actually, you’re probably right.
All I have to do is pick some aspect of supernatural/metaphysical/mythological lore and stuff it with teen angst and voila, I’ll be rich!
I shall call my novel Chupacabra: Your Goat Is Not Safe! <!—s::)—>

Life is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it’s real, because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up/down and it has thrills/chills. And it’s fun, for a while. When you’ve been on the ride for a long time, you begin to question: ‘Is this real? Or is this just a ride?’ And other people come back to us and they say ‘Hey! Don’t worry, don’t be afraid - ever - because… this is just a ride.’
Re: Is anyone here writing a book?
I wrote one for my Senior Project called Raz: The Power Within. Originally it was a comic book for my dad but I never finished it and it became a story rather than comic. I have many still waiting to be finished.

Re: Is anyone here writing a book?
I mostly do fanfics, freelance writing or stories for class assignments, but I’ve actually been having a couple of ideas for a book, so I’m about to compile quite a few of my dreams and ideas into a series. Only began to write it though.

Re: Is anyone here writing a book?
[quote author=“smithdwsn”]I am writing a book on Computer. It consists of basic of computer. So everybody can learn easily. I have already completed 6 chapters in that. My goal is 15 chapter so every basic things i can include in that. I have used very simple language and used graphics at some place. It is very useful for children who lives in villages where computer education can not provide there.
I’m sorry, but the grammar of this post has me laughing. I’m suspecting a bot, so I’m gonna go ahead and quote this, just in case it/they pull a bait n switch and the original post has to be taken down.
EDIT: Yep, it’s a bot. The IP is the same one from a more obvious bot I pulled last week, an IP from Mumbai India.

I’ve always wanted to write a book, but I’m more of a short story kind of girl. So, really, I salute anyone who’s writing a novel. It takes a ridunkulous amount of time and patience. :3

There are many celebrated authors who started with short stories or created a collection of short stories. Many authors I love start with coming up little stories, they build a universe for characters to explore and then before you know it you’ve created a novel. .... It just takes a little focus if you WANT to write a novel.

I never really thought about that way. Once it turns into a novel, the author immerses his self into the text. And right. Definitely focus and drive.

Right now, I’m in the planning stage of writing/drawing my manga, which I hopefully will get done later today. I’ve been excited about it the past few days and I can’t wait to see the finished product! <!—s:D—>

I’ve written a few and working on a couple more. I might consider trying to publish them when I’m older and make one into a manga since it’s my original idea. For now they’re just documents on my computer and notes on my ipod.
I’m currently working on a sci-fi novel set in the modern world. Super quick summary is “Kids unexpectedly get alien technology, kids use technology while dealing with personal, slice of life problems.”
I’ve already begun writing the manuscript. Once it’s finished it will work as a stand-alone novel but if it gets published and there is interest from the readers/publishers, then I have 2 more additions for it :3
