World of Warcraft - are you an experienced player?

Two years ago Connecticon had a players meet up. Since nobody ran one last year, I am organizing one this year.

The idea is as follows, and I am looking for experienced (or semi-experienced but motivated) players to join a panel.

The only obligation is to actually show up. While I would prefer that people have level 70 characters, more important
is that any volunteer be able to be patient and nice (even to the noobs).

At first we would go around to ask people simply their server, race and class
(eg. I am a Blood Elf Mage 70 on Duskwood,or Gnome Warrior 59 on Draenor ).

There is the possibility of two special guests: ‘Leeroy Jenkins’ and ‘Gamon of Ogrimmar’.

Please do write to me at my e-mail address, before July 15th, IF you are tinking you might be interested in being on the panel.

I want to get at least three panelists from each faction - so that we can give our guests some entertaining and informative (or at least fun) tricks to the game.

Re: World of Warcraft - are you an experienced player?

There will be two talks about WOW (at least, two being organized by me). I will give one where I teach folks how to make money and level faster - really geared for newbees. I will give a pre-set talk, and then time permitting have some open discussion.

The second session is the WOW Player Meet Up. This is for experienced players to share ideas, and whatever player comments they like. Yes, you get to ask a level 70 about a particular topic - and one or more of the panel will give their views.

This thread was stared so that I can get a variety of people together - to make up the panel.

Only those who contact me as described in the first posting will be given a chance to confirm that they will be on the panel. They will be given a priority to be on the panel - because then I can perhaps screen their wow knowledge.

I found from meet ups at various conventions that folks actually do different things on different servers. Makes sence.

I would see it including serious details on how to handle bosses in specific instances, to silly running with a bunch of your Tauren friends into Stormwind yelling moo! Some gnome named himself something like ‘mailboxgnome’ and left himself dead on the Ogrimmar mail box.

Possible special guests include: Leeroy Jenkins and Gamon of Ogrimmar!

I would love to be in your panel but I don’t consider myself an experienced player. Holy priests just hit the heal button, there’s no skill required. :p

But me and my fiance will be in your audience in tier 5 priest and warlock attire. <!—s:D—>:D<!—s:D—>

I plan to be there in costume - which I thinks adds that extra element of fun!

Do we get to swap funny stories pwn-ing the other faction?
