Re: Twilight

Someone mentioned earlier about bad romance novels, and I happened to find this hilarious clip of Ryan Seacrest reading from the book. Granted, he is the least likely person to do audiobooks, but he expertly captures the cheesiness of the writing:

Re: Twilight

I’m finally done reading all four books! Plus, I got a few chapters of Midnight Sun downloaded somewhere in my computer.

Re: Twilight

Hmm, I read all four of the books before the first movie and I didn’t have very high expectations for the film at all. I ended up enjoying the movie quite a lot actually. It took me awhile to start on New Moon because I thought Twilight was awful but I ended up liking New Moon the most. I ABSOLUTELY HATED Breaking Dawn because Stephanie Meyer found a quick fix solution to the love triangle issue which should have been settled in a bloody vampire/werewolf duel!!! I like Jacob Black; I can sympathize with his hopeless situation and his devotion to a girl he can never have. I’m sure there are plenty of guys who have ended up in this cynical situation.

For the last time, Jimmy! I’m not interested in a relationship, so stop trying to lay a guilt trip on me. <!—s:P—>:P<!—s:P—>

Life is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it’s real, because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up/down and it has thrills/chills. And it’s fun, for a while. When you’ve been on the ride for a long time, you begin to question: ‘Is this real? Or is this just a ride?’ And other people come back to us and they say ‘Hey! Don’t worry, don’t be afraid - ever - because… this is just a ride.’
