Rock Band Tourney ‘12
Hey, I’m Wasumaru, and I’m interested in signing up for the Rock Band tourney this year. This will be the first time I’ve ever been to Connecticon, and it will also be my first RB tourney!
Anyway, so a few things; can I get a few details clarified about the tournament? (rules, judging, available songs, controller types, etc.)
Also, in order to enter, I would need a band of course. I’m an expert guitarist with quite a few FC’s and GS’s to my name. I’m ranked in the top 150 guitarists for RB3 on-disc songs for the PS3, and I have top scores on several difficult songs. Recently, I’ve GS’ed Panic Attack, On the Backs of Angels, Almost Easy, and so many others. I’d say I’m pretty good. ^^
I can also be an expert vocalist; I’m actually a trained vocalist, and I’ve FC’ed many difficult songs on vox. (Roundabout comes to mind, anything by A7X, etc.)
So, I guess this topic could be used to recruit band members here; I know I’d rather prepare a band before the con than spend a better part of it searching the game room for members. I’m real excited about the tourney this year. I tried to enter the tourney in Anime Boston last year, but not enough bands signed up (and by not enough, I mean my band was the only one to sign up… -.-;), probably due to the fact that the drum kit was destroyed and the mic was duct-taped together…anyway, here’s hoping to a great tourney this year!
Hi there. I also intend to to play in this year’s Rock Band tournament. I could team up with yas, as I’ve a fair few Gold Star and Full Combo scores of my own. I’m strongest with Guitar and Bass and I can also sing, to that end I especially enjoy multitasking (vox+guitar/bass) and doing harmony vocals. I also might be able to recruit another highly skilled singer/guitarist and possibly a drummer. If not before con time I’ve been able to form full bands at the con twice before.
You can hit me up over email (.(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)) or on the PSN (SuprSaiynMusashi) if ya want to strategize or share high scores.
