Mods, if this is against the rules I apologize and will delete this thread.

I’m hoping to bring a new t-shirt design to ConnectiCon this year - an MLP themed “Team Derpy” shirt (details here).  Unfortunately, due to a financial set-back at an outdoor festival we did, I can’t get the run of t-shirts without preorders.  So I figured I’d come to some of you in advance.  The best part for you is that if you preorder, you will be refunded the cost of shipping because you can just pick up the t-shirt at my booth, along with some extra goodies.  I would love to see a number of people wearing this shirt around the con, so if you can help out that would be tremendous.

Again, mods, I’m not usually one for soliciting in a forum, but I thought I’d see if anyone was interested in this.

The soliciting rules on the forums are mostly in place for spambots and such. Though since this is about something that you’d be selling/doing at the artist colony, I will move the thread over there.

I am not entirely familiar with the origin, (A fan created pony that the show uses or a pony that was made popular by fans?) and whether the shirt would fall under the fan art restrictions, or if these are solely a ‘order/pay online and just pick up the shirt at the convention’ that might be a little different, since you will have already sold the shirt at a different venue (online) and are just handing over the actual product. I’d shoot an email over to one of the artist alley staff (http://connecticon.org/forums/forum/74/) just to be sure first,

Yeah, I guess the short, easy answer is it’s fan art, although I’d argue that the character of Derpy belongs mostly to the fandom.  Either way, if I do bring the t-shirt it will be a very limited supply anyway.

Thanks for letting me keep this post.  However, I won’t be in the Artist Colony, I’ll be in the Online Media section.  I don’t know if that makes much of a difference, really.
