Probably not as popular here, but since there’s a manga topic up already, I felt American comics should get their fair shake. I have to limit myself to a couple of trips to the comic shop a month lest I find myself broke, but anyone else still keeping up with issues, or trades?
By no means is this everything I’m reading but these are the titles I can’t do without:

Marvel:
-Most 616 Spider-man and X-men titles
-Out of those, particularly Amazing SM, Astonishing X-Men, X-Factor and Cable/Deadpool
-Nextwave
-Runaways
-Spider-man Loves Mary Jane (my secret shame…)

DC:
-Batman and Detective Comics
-All the Green Lantern titles
-Green Arrow
-Teen Titans
-On the Vertigo/Wildstorm imprints, American Splendor, DMZ and Manifest Eternity

Image:
-Invincible
-Walking Dead
-Elephantmen
-City of Heroes

Others:
-Polly and the Pirates
-Shrugged
-Gargoyles

Also a huge fan of Transmetropolitan, Hellboy and basically anything Robert Kirkman does.

Re: American comics! Whatcha reading?

Right now I have a subscription to Ultimate Fantastic Four, but I don’t know if I’ll continue when it expires.
Other than that, I follow religiously post-52 Justice Society of America and paperbacks of JLA. I think it’s probably too late to start following 52, unfortunately. Finally, though I won’t buy any, whenever I’m in the comic store I’ll get caught up on Astonishing X-men and the Authority.

it’ll be easier to read 52 when it comes out in trade form.

Right now for me its just:
*Witchblade Compendium
*Strangers in Paradise (The end is near and I’m gonna miss that series!)

Got quite a few others I’ll pick up after Witchblade besides all the manga
