Connecticon ‘11 Game & Tournament Suggestions
Hello video gamers!
As an ongoing task to make all you attendee’s happy, I want to open the door here to any and all suggestions for Connecticon ‘11!
Suggestions such as games you want to see there! Tournaments that you would like to participate in! Any and all ideas will be considered.
Some may not be possible if we cannot obtain copies of the game, but even then there is still hope! If there is any game that you would really like to see there and we cannot obtain a copy then if you’re willing, you can bring a copy to the convention yourself and we’d be more than happy to set it up for you to enjoy with others. You could even run a tournament with it if that is what you want!
So let me know what you want to see, and we will do the best we can to make it happen!

Why not expand Gears of War 2 tournament to 3 v 3 or 5 v 5? This is the last year of Gears of War 2 after all. I know its a lot but if we start advertising teams tournament. Of course rise up the cost of the game. Make Carlos Ferros host it <!—s:D—>

I actually would like to see a DDR tournament. Haha me and my friends used to compete hardcore and it was always fun

Why not have a Pokemon tournament, or at least an area for people to go if they’d like to battle others? Black and White did just come out after all, and I know I’m rather annoyed with the difficulty I’m faced with in finding tournaments that aren’t for the card game

this is my personal opinion, i think Sonic Adventure 2 Races or Sonic Unleashed/Colors Rases would be amazing

Would these be suggestions to add to the official lineup or is this where we can construct a list of games to see?
I wouldn’t mind seeing some of the following:
Pokémon (Black/White)
Starcraft2 (Not sure how viable this option will be since a set number of computers would be needed)
DDR
Smash Brothers (I love melee but I guess brawl is casual enough for my old decaying hands)
uuuuuuuuuuuh other stuff too..

I made a topic about this but figured to post it here too since I just found this thread..
A Robot Unicorn Attack tournament? There could be a pre-register on friday so that those who play on saturday can be qualified to win 3rd-1st place prizes? (They could be really small prizes or something) and whoever gets the highest score after 3 wishes wins first place. This game is extremely simple (2 buttons to push on the keyboard) and yet it’s very competitive and entertaining XD I would love to see this happen..

The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 is actually a really good one. I second that idea of having a tournament at a convention. Especially since I never have anyone to play with besides playing online XD
That being said, I still would like to see a Pokemon tournament. I was at another convention recently, and they made an attempt at one, which I was happy about. The idea in theory was good, the execution wasn’t the best though
