Anyone going to the con up for old school 1974 ORIGINAL D&D or a little newer (but making vastly more sense) 1981/83 edit D&D?

All I know is that we need a D&D for Dummies Panel. Because I can’t freakin’ learn how to play that game to save my soul.

The current version of D&D is an overly complicated mess is why!
The version of D&D I would like to run has 80% less stuff, yet 200% more fun.

Well, unless something changes before Friday, I plan on running Basic D&D around 7pm Friday night with it continuing as long as needed.

Are we talking about Dragon Quest style D&D or the super Basic Dungeons which isn’t entirely D&D, but is based off it and excessively simple, either way, I’m probably up for playing, haven’t played a real game in years.

I have a panel to run, and I have no idea if it’s friday or saturday - I just know that it’s from 11pm - midnight. But if there’s nothing else going on and I can get my bf to agree to it, I’ll search you out around 7 down in the gaming wing <!—s:)—><!—s:)—>

Well, we only had one person interested in playing with us, and that was only after she found out whoever was gonna run the LARP she showed up for was a no show.

Hey everyone! It’s 2008! I just started playing D&D recently. I bought a basic game for the version 3.5 just to see what it was all about. Surprisingly, me and my group of friends had a lot of fun. We’ve been meeting every couple of weeks since. We don’t really know what we are doing, but if anyone is running D&D this year, I’d be happy to stop by and play and learn something from people that actually know what they are doing. <!—s:)—><!—s:)—> Sorry to hear that last year’s attempt was a bust. <!—s:(—><!—s:(—>
