Connecticon Forum

Hey everyone.  I’m new to anime and the CTCon forums, but since I’m a new kid I wanted to start one of these “introduce yourself” threads…and yes I know theres another one, I posted on it, but its extremely outdated and no one seems to be posting on it. SOO HERE IT GOEESSS!

-Hey, I’m Bob. Everyone calls me Big Bob or Bobby Boy or any other variation of the name Bob XD.
-My birth date is September 7, 1989, so I’m 20 years old.
-I’m from Vernon, CT and have lived here all my life.
-I’m a senior at ECSU majoring in Computer Science.
-I work at the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology as a network engineer/analyst.
-I was never into anime or had been to a Con or anything like that until last year when my friend asked me to go with him, so last year was my first Con ever.
-I was a jock in high school, but never really fit in because I was always into video games and card games and things like that.
-CTCon has pretty much opened me to a much more enjoyable group of people where i finally feel like i fit in and enjoy myself fully.
-There aren’t many people around me that are into anime and all that good stuff….(that I know of)
-I’m really interested in simply meeting new people and making a new group of friends with the same interest!
-On a side note other than my job I’m a musician and have been for a little over 10 years now. I play multiple different instruments.
-I absolutely love working on cars and building things.
-I’m really looking to meet some new people at CTCon this year after experiencing how much fun last year was.
