Artist Alley Registration?
Re: Artist Alley Registration?
I know its really late, but i just got my Tax ID because i had to wait on money and when I go to register for AC it brings me to normal membership. Do I have to buy that and upgrade to an AC? Or is it closed? ;n; I really hope not :’<

All types of registrations are done in the same place. There should be an option to select a registration for the AC.

I just found out that it sold out over the weekend, so the option was taken off. Now everyone will be put on a waiting list.

I noticed on the program book that there’s about 11 open tables….is it possible to still get one? ;n; and If I’m on the waiting list will there be an email confirmation thing sent back to me for a table space?

Yes, Joe should be sending out e-mails to everyone this week. When you come to set up your table, you will find him (either in the AC or at con cops) and pay for your space then.

Re: Artist Alley Registration?
I was just checking over the program book, I am rather disappointed that no one on the Artist Alley staff seems to care to show the artists the set up before this goes to print. Since I see that I am only at half a table when I paid for a full table. I send a message thru the contact page to get the matter cleared up, but as the head of an Artist Alley myself, I can’t see why Connecticon can’t put a little more effort into communicating with their Artists. Lets not forget that Artist Alley is one of the few departments that GENERATE money for the con.

I can see why that happened. This will be easier if you look at your account status. It says you’re registered for 4 half-tables (2 full tables with one invoice), and you have 2 payments of $75, so one payment got applied to each table, so it looks like you only paid for one half table. Something must have happened that made the webmaster manually enter your information and that caused the confusion. Also, the setup for the AC is the same as last year, but it didn’t get re-posted to the site. In either case, they are all problems that are handled by the webmaster, not the people who run Artists’ Colony.
And the Artists’ Colony doesn’t generate money for the convention, it pays for the space it occupies.

Re: Artist Alley Registration?
I just want to make sure I get a full table, since that is what I paid for.

Re: Artist Alley Registration?
Maybe it’s a bit too early to ask about this but I was told that one associate badge will be reimbursed to those who were at AC last year after all the spaces are sold / registration closes. And now that the registration has closed and AC tables are supposedly all sold out, will we be reimbursed soon? How soon?
I would like details on this so that I know what to expect. Thanks!

Re: Artist Alley Registration?
I am still waiting for a response from the Artist Alley staff about the matter of my table space. I’d like to get this cleared up before the con, if possible.

Re: Artist Alley Registration?
I need to purchase an additional associate membership. How do I do that from the ConnectiCon site? I can only see how to buy a regular weekend pass?
Thanks!

You will have the opportunity to purchase an associate membership if you need one at the convention.

You will get the amount of space you paid for (a full table). We’ll move the other person to the “flex” space we have.

If you attended the convention in 2009 and you purchased an associate membership for 2010, you will be reimbursed $35 on Saturday of the convention. If you didn’t buy an associate membership for this year, one will be provided to your complimentary.
Re: Artist Alley Registration?
