Hey all
Just want to let everybody know that the first wave of events for mini’s gaming is set and ready to roll.
Warhammer 40,000
Saturday Night 40K
Back for the 6th year in a row we have our annual Saturday Night 40K tournament Bring 1750 points of 40K for 3 rounds of madness. Rules include 5th Edition, 1 and 1/2 hour rounds and prizes for best commander, best sportsman, and best painted.
Best in Connecticut Warhammer 40K Weekend League.
Back for the second year in a row last year popular league is even better than before. This Year its 2000 points of your best army squaring off against some of the best players in the North East (That’s right they come from all over) Rules include 5 2 hour rounds over course of all three days of the Con, with missions from Planet Strike to some golden classics. Prizes for Best General, Best Sportsman, and Best Painted Army.
Redemption of Avar-Warhammer 40,000 Mega Battle.
After the stinging lose of their Home World the Space Marines of Ordo Draconis have no time to grieve. The Planet Avar is under assault by the dark forces of Chaos and they are the only ones who can help. Three days of non stop action as the Heroic Space Marines take the fight to the arch enemy of Man. in several battles over the weekend.

The Manse
Ever read any of the Warhammer 40K novel and wish you can fight the epic battle written on the pages, well here’s your chance. Straight from the pages of Dan Abnett’s Straight Silver is the Epic battle for the Manse, battle as the Famous Tanith First and Only or the vile Blood Pact. featuring such characters as, MkVenner, Caffran and Larkin
Flames of War
Battle of Krusk-Mega Batte
Relive the single largest tank battle in the history of Mankind as the Russians stage their long awaited counter strike against the invading Germans.
We also have Greg Hanson’s Historical Gaming, Warmachine Hordes and Warhammer Fantasy and much more so keep and eye out and feel free to ask any question

Correction to the Best in Connecticut Tournement, it is now the Best in the North East Tournament.

Hi all.  Historical games now include American War of Independence:  The 47th Foot march to Saratoga.  American Continentals gather, attack the march route to head off the lead company.  Large Skirmish 28mm, Sharpe’s Practice rules   3 to 8 players.

Lawrence in the Sinai.  Sir Lawrence of Arabia, with his arab allies, attack a key Turkish oasis in the Sinai.  Great War Rules (GW), 28mm, 2 to 8 players (more players, the Afrika Corps German, Colonial British reinforce the Turks and Arabs respectively.

Pursuit of the Goeben.  WWI Naval.  Victory at Sea, Age of Dreadnaughts.  Can the British catch the Goeben before she joins the Turkish Fleet in the Black Sea (where she served with distinction into modern times), 1/2400 scale.  2 to 4 players.

Pick up games:  WWI Air combat. starring the red fokker triplane vs the heroic Spad.  Wings of War 2 to 6 players.
  Time and day to be arranged, I’ll be running games from Friday morning until Sunday afternoon.

Just a little update,
We will be having a 2250 point Warhammer Fantasy Tournament on Saturday, Flames of War National Qualifiers for (And I can not stress this enough) the 2011 Season, which will be the first one in the USA I might Add.

Also Connecticon will be hosting a Flames of War Tournament in Late May, and a Warhammer 40,000 Tournament in June. More to come on both of those.
