Here are the dates for some upcoming game cons:

Unity Games - 2/6 in Woburn MA - <!—m—>http://www.unitygames.org<!—m—>
PAX East - 3/26 - 28 in Boston MA - <!—m—>http://www.paxsite.com/paxeast/<!—m—>

There you go, so plan accordingly.

I booked the room for Unity Games. A reliable source tells me that PAX East is close to having 20,000 people registered, and they might cap off the limit at that. So if you’re thinking of going to PAX East, make plans NOW!!  Coincidentally, both of the above events are being held in or near Boston Mass.

I’d at least like to go to Ucon and UConn on Saturday and meet the Nostalgia Critic.

Haha! Me too, if I was in town. Would be cool if he could be booked for CTcon. He comes off as pretty personable, I want my picture with Chester A. Bum.

Life is like a ride at an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it, you think it’s real, because that’s how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up/down and it has thrills/chills. And it’s fun, for a while. When you’ve been on the ride for a long time, you begin to question: ‘Is this real? Or is this just a ride?’ And other people come back to us and they say ‘Hey! Don’t worry, don’t be afraid - ever - because… this is just a ride.’

Funny you should mention that, Grant. Linkara just posted this up on his website today.

-...if you’d like me or any other member of That Guy With the Glasses to come to a convention, you’ll have to appeal to the people who run that convention. Not that we’d be against going of our volition or trying to organize a booth, but it’s much easier for us if the convention people come to us directly and invite us.

Consider this my appeal.

Just read my mind, I was about to head over there just now. I second that motion. Time to start a 2010 potential guest list thread if no one has yet.

Not sure if synDCon ever took place. Their website was down for a month if not longer. Matt is involved with Digital Overload so that should go as scheduled.

Re: Upcoming cons for 2010

It’s tax season. I’m very busy at the CPA firm where I work. I won’t be able to make ConnCon, PAX East or Game Days. I plan to go MepaCon in May and PortConMaine in June.

So did anyone here go to ConnCon or PAX East? I heard the latter had over 20,000 people.

Re: Upcoming cons for 2010

ConnCon was smaller, and PAX was packed (but didn’t have enough to do IMHO).
