Manga?
Do a lot of people read the manga and the anime both? One or the other? Or… do you watch/read one first and then go to the other one?

I start off watching and then go to reading to get caught up cause I can’t wait for those sillybillies to put out slow anime releases. There are some animes that I won’t watch and read only. Dgreyman and Bleach are the best examples; I’ll read the manga and say “oh man I can’t wait for them to animate this” only to be disappointed.

It depends on the series. I go with whatever I saw/read first…unless the anime turns out to be abysmally bad, in which case I’ll stick to the manga. There is only one exception, where the anime was good, but the manga sucked. Gundam Wing.
Sometimes I’ll view the anime and manga as two different series, though (FMA, Hellsing, Negima)...since the storylines diverge so far from each other.

I usually watch the anime (or at least part of it) first, then I read the manga. Or, I’ll pick up a manga title, find out it has an anime, then watch it.

I prefer reading the manga and after getting far into the series i will watch it. other wise i prefer manga’s since i prefer reading more then watching o.o;

It happens all different ways for me. One series I just read and then watched the anime, one series I watched the anime and then read, some I have only seen the anime, and I have read a few manga that I have not watched the anime for it (yet???) It’s nice to give them both a try.

EHHHH. Bleach is dead to me. Ever since Ichigo was resurrected to fight Grimmjow and went super saiyan 4 to kill Ulquiorra. Don’t get me started on Mr. omnipotent Aizen.

I really like the Host club Manga. I’ve read Inu Yasha but it’s never ending! I like both the Anime and the Manga even though there are a few episodes that are very different

Well for me to actually BUY the manga it has to stick out for me cause now a days money is hard to come by. But usually I see how it is online if I love it, I buy it. Like I did with Kaikan Phrase, Ceres: CM, and Pretear. I just read these 2 mangas online, one was called HOTEL and the other was called, Akuma na Eros.
I am also finding myself slowly going into Seikon no Qwaser.

I usually read the manga first, and sometimes I only read the manga. I usually prefer manga to anime, sometimes I like both the same, but the only series I can think of where I like the anime better is Yu Yu Hakusho (but I also love the manga!)
I guess it depends which came first. The one the comes first is usually the best, in my opinion,

I used to just watch the anime. Then I started reading the manga. It started with Bleach- I watched the anime, knew the manga was further, didn’t want to wait and started reading the manga, and now I don’t watch the anime and just read the manga. I generally read the manga first then watch the anime after now.
