i dunno if there was every a offical Fluxx tourny at CTCon, but that would be fun.

I do recall there being Fluxx as part of the Webcomic Challenge, but I may be mistaken. After all, my recollection isn’t nearly as good as it used to be.

However, I believe that there should be a Fluxx tournament at CTCon07. And, if it’s not part of the official scheduling, we shall make it a SterileArt event. Hopefully, by that time, my “expandable card game” (I’m trademarking that, so don’t even think about stealing it) should be completed (or at least playable).

If you mean last year, I don’t remember but I don’t think there was… at least, I think we would have fought over which one got to go and we all split up pretty evenly.

Year before and earlier I mostly just remember the chicken wings. Either way, if there isn’t, there should be.

i don’t think there was one last year but i definitely think there should be. fluxx rocks hardcore. and if it has to be a sterileart thing, then we’ll bring it. in America.

sooo I’hv never seen this game in action or know how to play.

sounds amazing though.

I’ll hafta learn how to play when the con roles around.

Fluxx in the park at the OMGWTFBBQ was the bees knees.

1) I’m curious as to how you feel everyone hates you. If you infer that because of your low karma on the forum, then perhaps I can explain why you have that low score: thou doth protest too much. Seriously. Not everything is as dire as you make it out. You have a tendency of blowing things out of proportion on here and I’m gathering that people are not too happy about it.

2) As far as a meet-up is concerned, it isn’t right that those of us who live in Southern Connecticut have to drive all the way up to Plainville for these things. The part that is most disheartening is that when alternate locations not in the immediate Plainville/Bristol area were suggested, people suddenly couldn’t go. The reason we don’t want to go to Plainville again is simple: it’s too far and we’ve done it enough times; it’s about time people from Northern Connecticut meet us half-way.

3) We don’t need sniping on these forums. Yes, the CTCon Xmas party didn’t work out, but does one failure mark all future endeavors as failures? Your statement is quite simply trolling. You cast aspersions willfully and intentionally to cause reactions that would be considered “flaming”.

4) Talk of planning another CTCon meet-up is off topic here and should be done in the appropriate location. The “Events” board looks like a wonderful place.

Uh, Eric? Back up the horse, pal. I don’t need a novel. I was being pretty much sarcastic there, good natured jabbing, all that ruckus.

And I don’t really know how it is that I’m blowing anything out of proportion - this is text, if you didn’t notice. Just because I use an exclamation point doesn’t make it “dire”.
