As a broadcasting school grad I know all the ins and outs for Radio

I have an iPod, does that count?
I listen to XM/Sirius Satellite Radio.
Those were my two. But I went with the ipod option since I can’t stand terrestrial radio here but XM is definetly the way to go if you do a lot of driving and get bored on the road.

Yeah, they totally screwed up their channel/station line-ups and personalities when they merged… they kept all the wrong stations and DJ’s for the most part… maybe they should have polled their listeners for preferences for each station, although it does make sense that they merged stations that were the same formats, most subscribers agree they took it too far.

I listen to WNPR - I don’t see it on the list. Is there no love for Public Radio among Geeks and Nerds? I think we must make up a large part of their listening audience.

I’ll take it any day over what their offering for free on regular radio, if it goes under then I’ll just go back to my ipod and pod casts for free full time.

Ignoring the fact I live in Rhode Island and the stations I used to listen to aren’t there apparently…
I gave up on the radio. I don’t like most of the music that plays on it these days, and my favorite bands are mostly not even from the U.S. (Nightwish, Within Temptation, Delain, Lacuna Coil…) their music doesn’t usually play on the radio. I was surprised to hear Apocalyptica’s I Don’t Care on the radio though. Except the version I have is different from the radio version…I like the one I have better.

WCCC and WURH (106.9 and 104.1) I like rock music. And j-pop and trance, but there aren’t any stations this side of the pond that play such things.
